Kilgray Translation Technologies, a company dedicated to the development of translation productivity tools released build 50, a minor update to memoQ 2015. The new version is designed to improve productivity of individual translators, translation teams, translation companies and other companies alike. Budapest (Hungary) July 20, 2015 – memoQ build 50 is a minor release to memoQ 2015, which includes a combination of bug fixes and additional functionality. Individual translators can further improve their productivity through an enhanced support of SDLXLIFF files. memoQ 2015 was only able to deal with formatting for SDLXLIFF files when the original document was a Microsoft Word DOCX file. Working with build 50, all the other Microsoft Office formats are now available. There have also been changes regarding how memoQ uses the Microsoft Word spell checker. As a result, the spell checker runs significantly faster. memoQ users can now opt-in to have automatic error reporting. These are anonymous reports which will be sent to Kilgray, when something unexpected occurs. It will enable support to identify common issues and provide more timely fixes. In addition to functionality available for individual translators, translation companies and other companies can take advantage a set of other features. Automated export tasks from online projects let project managers create an automated task in their workflow, which automatically exports documents to a particular folder after they have been translated and/or reviewed. memoQ also now allows the export of LQA and QA reports. The API has been extended so that it can work with project templates, which opens up a world of possibilities for those using the API directly, or using third-party solutions that use the API. With the introduction of a new “Files” tab project managers have access to archived documents from anywhere. memoQ offers now a better licensing support for those using memoQ client on a terminal server: memoQ clients on a terminal server can now accept CAL licenses from a memoQ server.
